SAAD TIOULY
Immersed from an early age in Moroccan popular music, Saad Tiouly grew up practicing traditional styles such as Gnaoua, Issawa, and Dakka Marrakchia. Born and raised in the winding alleys of Casablanca’s old medina, he has been deeply shaped by its vibrant cultural energy.
With a deep desire to enrich the world of Gnaoua, Saad Tiouly carries both the ambition and commitment to contribute meaningfully to this centuries-old art form. Through innovative lyrics and melodies, he draws from the rich Gnaoui heritage while introducing modern elements that resonate with contemporary audiences—particularly the younger generations, whom he seeks to inspire and represent.
